This year we have a wide variety of cricket bats, equipment and soft goods, from many different suppliers - such as Kookaburra, Gray Nicholls, Puma, Red Ball Cricket, Willo Stix, Bradbury, SS and many more. This year we have seen a change in many of the bats, the most visible being the profiles, some being up to 35mm. At John Henry Sports we have a good range of cricket bats starting from only £10 going through to £400. Some of the top range willows are the Gray Nicholls Legend, WilloStix Stick, Salix CTS Pod Players and the Millichamp and Hall Solution. Whilst also stocking some great sellers such as the Kookaburra Big and Biggest Kahuna, along with the Gray Nicholls Powerbow and Oblivion. This year we are seeing many variations in the bats provided from certain companies. Gray Nicholls have The Edge, this is a one-day/T20 bat where the handle is positioned off centre. All Chase Cricket have provided us with the Finback 175 T20 which is a shorter blade with a long handle, link a Mongoose esc. Finally Newbery have the Uzi which isn't far of the average bat in terms of appearance, however it does have a slightly shorter blade and a longer handle.

All of our cricket products except the Footwear contains 20% discount. In the footwear range we have both batting slippers and bowling boots. Asics this year have provided a really good selection of both with a very comfortable batting boot in the Gel Strike Rate, this product has been very successful and a popular choice due to its maximum comfort. Asics also providing a bowling boot in Gel 8 for 64, which gives maximum support for those ankles of the faster bowlers. this year we also have the Nike Air Zoom Century II boot - yes it is bright orange available at £90. Its synthetic leather upper that offers a lightweight, durable and comfortable fit along with perforations for breathability. External heel counter that lends stability and holds the foot in place. Low ankle design that offers additional stability and support. Adidas have bought out a very stylish boot - Twenty2yrds Lite IV, is a breathable and comfortable boot which is ideal for batting.

In the soft goods department we have again a strong price range in all pads, gloves, wicketkeeping equipment and bags etc. Kookaburra providing the cheapest and an ideal beginners level pads and gloves, both of which can be bought for £20 pounds inclusive for the Kahuna 150 pads and gloves, these are available in small boys to mens sizes. We also have the Puma Iridium 4000 pads which are also at a discounted price from £65 - down to £52. They are very stylish and lightweight as well as provding maximum protection.

One of the most popular products these days are the Aero Strippers. Many batsmen prefer these to your normal padded shorts, simply due to the comfort and range of movement that is available with them. They are lightweight and provide good protection. A perfect accessory for a batsmen. They are available in 3 qualities with P1 being the most effective and P3 being the least. However still a very good thigh pad.Wicketkeeping equipment is also available, we have a good variety of the Kookaburra pads and gloves, styled and worn by Brad Haddin. We have in stock the Haddin 1000 pads at £48.80, and matching gloves at £69.60 in the Kookaburra Silver Gloves.

Hockey season fast approaching we have some luxurious iteams from Kookaburra, Dita, Mercian, Adidas and Grays. Some top of the range sticks include the Adidas LX24 adiBow 24 Compo 2, the Mercian Storm was £200 - now £160. There is also 20% off the Kookaburra Ultralite Argon, was £160 - now £128.
